Proseffective, delivers, rinses well, lots of shine
As a female with extremely thick, wavy, colored, hair abused hair type I require a specific conditioning treatment not found with many hair products. Most promise detangling, shine, and defrizz but this one delivers on all counts. No it doesn't smell like coconut or fruity tuity but after your hair dries there is no smell, I really don't think its bad anyway; it just smells clean. I love this stuff and plan to purchase the biggest bottle they make!
I was excited to try this conditioner, as I am a big fan of some of Kiehl's hair products, most notably the silk straightening cream, but the smell was not a pleasure--very medicinal. That medicinal character works in some of Kiehl's products, but for whatever reason, it doesn't work here. (There was a faint resemblance to the argan lotion, but not as nice.) Moreover, it does not have a rich texture and did not smooth or de-frizz or condition enough (I have very thick, wavy hair) for me to purchase it again. Not a winner for me.

Prossmooths, smells great, detangles, goes a long way

This was the most amazing product, this conditioner (and the shampoo) were the best I have every used. I have thick, curly hair, that as soon as any humidity comes in, poofs and starts plinking-out all over. To find a conditioner that helped control the smoothness, especially when everything else failed in humid conditions, was incredible. The smell took me a couple of times to get used to and then once I did, it was a scent I welcomed. Most amazing was my kids telling me I smelled good.
