Prosamazing, fantastic, long lasting
Huge fan of ButterLondon right here, but I have always put off buying a basecoat because I wanted color. Well I decided I'd give the basecoat a try..... WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I can now get 5-7 days without, WITHOUT a chip anywhere!!!!!!!! I'm the happiest girl now that my manis last a whole week!!!!! :D Thank you ButterLondon & Thank You Nordstrom, please never stop carrying ButterLondon!!!!!!!! Thank You!!!!!!! :D

A Multitasking Nail Product

I love this because it truly stops dark-colored nail polish from staining my nails. It dries fast. I use 1 coat before I use color nail polish. It also looks great alone. I use 3 coats along with a clear topcoat to give my nails a classic, nude look. When wearing alone, 1 coat looks more like a "clear" nail polish. 2 coats was too sheer for me. That's why I used 3 coats for my nude nail look.

Great Foundation/ Ridge Filler

Prosworks great, could wear alone
I have used a number of these products over the years including one by Dior which Nordstrom sells. I think the Butter London is the best of the lot. Based on the performance of this product, I am going to try this brand's polishes. Usually I just buy Chanel. I previously bought a Jin Soon polish which I considered returning . I loved the color but could not get good coverage with it even with 3 coats which took forever to dry. I tried that polish with the Dior product and had the same result.When I used the Butter London foundation I got good coverage with 2 coats of the Jin Soon over it. This foundation could be worn alone or with a topcoat for a mannequin hands look. I am 60 and often go for that look. My hands at my age are not my best feature so I try to keep my nails looking decent but not call a lot of attention to them.

More than a Foundation

I have been a fan of Butter for years. This foundation smooths any imperfections prior to using your colored polish. It is also great alone with just a top coat of Hardware!
