Absolutely adorable dress

Adorable dress. True to size. I'm 5'3" 125 bought a size 8. Size 6 might have also fit, but I don't like clothes too tight. The dress gathers all the way around in the front and back. It does make a backside appear a little larger, but it's clear it's the gathering of the dress. Still super cute. Isn't too young looking. I'm 45-54. Can't wait to wear it!

A pretty dress but not in light blue

This dress is very pretty (I will agree with others, was a little smelly!) The light blue is VERY Robin's egg blue, lighter and brighter than I expected. Almost a little garish. I wanted to wear it to a wedding but it is more a Mother of the Bride or Bridesmaid look in this color and as I am neither I am sending it back. I probably would be much prettier in a color other than this light blue.

Smelly dress

****1 star***The dress smelled awful! I ordered this online and it was on back order so I didn't have any time to get a replacement. I have never had an issue like this but I have been letting it air out and febreezing it since it arrived. Nordstrom needs to do a better job with quality control. It fits fine. I read the reviews which said to order a size up which was true. I'm glad I listened.

Having a pear shape, at 5'5" 145 lbs., I wear a size 10 pant, but can wear a much smaller dress size many times, depending upon the style. In reading other reviews saying that this dress runs small, I thought the size 8 would be safe since it is fuller on the bottom and fitted on top where I am smaller. It was unfortunately too big. I then ordered the 6 but held onto the 8 in case that was too small so I could simply have the 8 altered. The 6 was perfect! I had been eyeing this dress for quite a while, so I didn't want to let it go. I did have a bit of trouble reaching behind and fully zipping it on my own, but I was finally able to do so, and I can enlist help from my husband when I officially wear it. I actually don't even have an event in mind to wear this to, but I thought that it had enough of a classic look (I chose the black) to have in the closet for the next short notice event, and the sale price made it all the more attractive. I must also say, the return (which I usually dread) of the size 8 was not a hassle at all! Very happy with the dress and the experience.
