Pretty. Longer than it looks

Proselegant.
I bought this in light blue to wear to my daughter's graduation. I had a seamstress let down the hem, about another 3 inches. She left the hem stitching intact and replicated it on the bottom. Dress (size 14) w/let down hem is now 40.5" from shoulder to hem. I'm 5'4" and it hit just above the knee BEFORE the alterations.
She also tacked the bust opening as it was very low cut, but easy to adjust. I was so happy to find a dress with sleeves and with the hem alteration long enough for my comfort.

Sticky Zipper
PostedJune 18, 2016
I love this dress, however, I do not love the zipper. I ordered two of this dress because the first had a sticky zipper and was out of alignment. The second dress stuck as well. The fabric of the wasteband and and skirt is thick and weighty, but the zipper doesn't seem to hold up. Both zippers, on both dresses, stuck where the waistband meets the skirt. Disappointing for such a pretty, and not cheap, dress.

Beautiful Dress
PostedJune 17, 2016
I bought this dress to wear to a family wedding. The dress is beautiful although the color is a dark navy vs. the slate blue as it looks on my computer. Still lovely. My only complaint and why I sent it back is due to the deep V front...it just hits way too low for me. I am larger chested so it was just way too much cleavage for my taste. I thought about seeing if I could take it to a tailor to see if they could put something there so it wasn't so low but didn't since it's a dark blue lace and I'd want it to match. Sadly, I ended up returning it. Had it not been for this, I would have kept it...it was very well made, loved that it had pockets and it hit right above the knee. I also liked that it had sleeves....most dresses are sleeveless and since I get weekly allergy shots I have bruises on my arms which I really wanted covered. Choices of dresses with sleeves of any sort is a real struggle! (they really need to make more...not everyone wants to be sleeveless for whatever reason!)

For the taller girls!
PostedJune 13, 2016
I am 5'9 at 155 lbs, and I could have gone with a size 6 or size 8, but chose the 8 simply because it was a tad less restrictive in the arm and mid-section. This dress is a beautiful and flattering fit for my body type. Whether you're busty or not, the neckline is elegant and falls just right (without that awkward gap that you might get if you don't tape it down). The length on the sizes 6 and 8 are appropriate just a few inches above the knee, (and I'm mostly leg), so no awkward tug-downs needed with this dress! Absolutely love this dress and am excited to wear it to my bff's wedding!
