So this dress is all about how small your waist is. I have a curvy shape with a smaller waist so I should have ordered my normal size because the 6P was too big through the bust. I have a 34B chest. A 4P or 4 would have been perfect. If you have a more straight waist then maybe order a size up but I should have stuck with my normal dress size. The ivory dress is really beautiful and very dressy looking.
I normally wear a size 2, hardly ever a 0, but I have a narrow rib cage and this dress is meant to be fitted above the waist band, which sits above my natural waist. I am disappointed because the dress is a very flattering on me, though the bottom is a bit "poufy" as others have noted. I'm debating whether to risk having the dress altered. I bought it to wear to my son's wedding and it seems perfect for that.
The navy color is actually navy and not the lighter color it appears to be online.
