It's a beautiful dress and perfect for a recent fundraiser dinner that i attended. The empire waist gives it a very feminine look without being "cute," Looks much more expensive than the price. The faille fabric in the skirt is of a very good quality. Definitely need to order a bust size up, as suggested on the website
I loved the cut of the top - it was very flattering for broad shoulders and the skirt poufed out some but not so much that it looks like you are wearing petticoat. It hit me right above my knee (I'm 5'3") and I bought a petite size. I bought a size 8 but the waist was too tight (I weigh 125) for my comfort. I think it is the perfect mixture of formality and fun - I will just have to buy a bigger size.
When I saw this dress online, I thought it would be perfect. I'm 5'3", 125 pounds with a pear shape and thought the cut of the dress would be perfect. The dress is beautiful, but the skirt is just too much fabric on a petite frame so back to Nordstrom's it went. It really is better suited for a taller woman.
Beautiful dress! It's perfect for parties, weddings, or the holidays. The bottom is a little puffier than then picture, so be mindful of that when you order.
