Not for my combo/oily skin
PostedMarch 31, 2012
Goes on smooth, the perrrrrrrfect shade! Burberry! Please make a liquid matte foundation. The luminosity in this oil free leave my combo/oily skin looking greasy after about a hour! Regrettably, I had to return! Got the sheer foundation instead. In LOVE with the compact!

Prosmoisturizing, natural
I love this foundation. I've tried many others that cost more and seem to return to this one! It's light, yet covers imperfections on the skin!
I have tried many cosmetic lines, but none seem to match Burberry! I was given a sample of the make-up and lipstick and was truly sparked by the results. The foundation is sheer, lightweight and flexible enough that if you want more coverage, you can use a sponge to apply. The foundation literally goes on like a moisturizer. No more brushes to make sure that you are blended well!!!
I am an asian combination skin type and I like a flawless look that does not make me look "made up". If applied with your fingers or a sponge, I get a subtle, natural, glowing look!!! Give it a try!
Seriously best stuff ever made, and I've tried them all - Dior, Chanel, Laura Mercier, Metier de Beaute, and those were just "I like it, it's acceptable," but this was so good that it deserved a review. So lightweight, buildable coverage, pleasant scent, not cakey like the Perfection Lumiere, and just overall delivered amazing luminous results. I didn't oxidize at all on my oily skin, spread so easily, and just beautiful semi-matte finish. I do have oily skin so I need to set it with a powder, but I just sweep the powder on my T-zone since I love the glowy finish on my cheeks. Non-irritating ingredients too on my sensitive skin. I'm a fair skinned Asian, so I was matched to Trench 3 because Trench 2 had a very pinky undertone and being Asian, I'm a yellow undertone. It's a decent match... slightly darker that my skin color, but in a healthy kind of way. Otherwise I look like a ghost! The slightly sliiightly darker coloring was actually very flattering, and I'm someone who enjoys being pale, so this will definitely work very well on Asian skintones.
