I know Burberry isn't known for their foundations.. but I still really wanted to like this foundation because I am abit biased about Burberry.. (its my fav high end brand) I tried the color Trench 4, which is supposed to be the lightest color with most yellow
The color is still way to "beige - y" for my pale-light yellow undertone. There is also nothing luminous or glowy about this foundation... its not matte, its a bit sticky actually, but its not a "brightening, luminous, glowy" finish that I was looking for and expecting. my face looks a little dull, boring, and not smooth at all... I noticed some pore accentuating effect...
it also not very pigmented.. It builds up really nicely, but doesn't cover as much as it should compared to how heavy it feels when I build it up.
Formula is absolutely stunning, creamy , blends like a dream and it is not sheer at all. I would say it's more of a medium coverage that's buildable. It looks so natural on and has satin finish. Nothing too glowy about it. I am highly impressed and would recommend it to normal, dry and combination skin if you would like light to medium coverage. Great job burberry
I tried a few different foundations before I discovered Burberry, including Mac. Then one day I ran out - and tried four different samples from Sephora - there is no replacement for Burberry foundation!
This is a wonderful product. The trench 05 matches my skin perfectly ( hazel eyes, dark hair, medium complexion). What I like most is the consistency and how just a mere drop spreads over my entire face and front of my neck. It creates a natural looking glow that lasts all day.
