Beautiful Liner but can't keep it on!

I have the color Midnight Ash and let me first say.. it is a beautiful color, and I only bought it in terms of not ever seeing a color like this before.
I own Burberry eyeshadows which I love and are extremely pigmented, quality, and blendable. I love the idea of the 'effortless' cool, Burberry girl and their makeup just speaks to me. As much as I would love to be the cool, chic Burberry girl, I think these makeup items are just made for certain people. As much as I want to love/tried this liner. It just won't stay on! It literally disappears within two hours, and I set it with powder!
I will keep it as it's this weird product I am hoping to eventually love. But, is it worth it? Nah... maybe look elsewhere.
I have so many liners-every brand, but Burberry Midnight Brown is my favorite. A rich brown, but not 'black'. It stays on and does not run. It seems to last longer without sharpening, so the price is not as bad as it seems.
