I am a contact-wearer, and fair-skin redhead; the espresso shade is perfect. This product doesn't smudge, doesn't clump, and washes off cleanly. Love this mascara!
I have always liked and used this mascara in the past, but my latest tube is clumpy and difficult to use.

Bare Minerals Volumizing mascara is the best I've ever used. It makes lashes look full and natural without clumping.

I am picky when it comes to beauty products and I only buy stuff that's all natural (no parabens etc.). The problem is, a lot of the natural stuff doesn't work as well. I think that Bare Minerals volumizing mascara blows the competition (natural and otherwise) out of the water. Doesn't smudge or clump.
