I bought these shoes for my husband. I have never bought this brand before and I had thought this was a jean line before, not shoes. My husband wore them today and said they are sooo confortable. I love the style.

Great Versatile Shoes

I really like these shoes with jeans. I have received so many compliments about them and how stylish they look. I am surprised at how comfortable they are, especially since I have somewhat wide feet. Despite the price, I am very happy with my purchase and will be using these shoes for quite awhile!

I was a bit hesitant to purchase the John Varvatos 'Hipster' initially because the sole was on the thinner side and because I wasn't really feeling a brown boot at the time. Anyhow, I went ahead with the purchase, and am pleasantly surprised by how much I like the fit and feel of this boot. The leather is very soft, and flexes with your foot ensuring you are comfortable all day.
I did make one change to the boot, and that was to get it dyed by my local cobbler. I really wanted a black chukka. So, I had him dye this boot black. It looks great, and even dresses it up a bit more for the work environment, not that I needed that benefit within my office.
