Prosdefining, lengthening, volumizing, keeps the curl
I have tried SO many eyelash thickeners that you apply before mascara, especially since Loreal stopped making a Double Extend product that DID work perfectly. This Shiseido product is AMAZING!! It thickens and keeps my eyelashes curled (I put 3 coats on!!) and then apply mascara. I cannot believe after spending SO much money on high end eyelash boosters that I FINALLY found this product!! The reviews REALLY sounded like what I wanted, but that happened to me over and over again, and all they did was weigh DOWN my newly curled eylashes??! So the real SHOCKER to me is that this Shiseido product REALLY DOES WORK!! I LOVE IT!!

Most Amazing Makeup Product

I have short, straight and sparse lashes. I have tried many high-end mascara to lift and curl my eyelashes. In a few hours, they all tend to smudge, and the curl won't stay. Shiseido Nourishing Mascara Base is a game changer. After applying the Base and any one of my mascara, my eyelashes will stay curled and lifted the whole day. For me, it is the most amazing makeup find. Now any mascara works for me (I still stick with department store brand, but maybe I'll try drugstore brands now.)
I don't know how I survived all my life without this. My coworker recently recommended this product to me and it's changed my eyelash game forever. It really does hold your curls all day, which is saying something for a girl like me who has the straightest lashes ever. If I could only have one makeup item for the rest of my life, it would be this.
Used this mascara base for several years. It never fails from the first use and thereafter to help build and make lashes look fuller and longer. Other brands of mascara base can be too thin or too wet to make a difference in the outcome of your mascara. It lasts a long time and still works, so you need to remember when to replace it because it doesn't fail to give results.
