i bought these as an engagement gift for some dear friends. i knew that the elephants matched their decor. these little elephants will look great as knick knacks even if they don't get used on the table :)
i love these salt and pepper shakers - they are unique and quirky and come in a great box that makes a fantastic gift.

Proscute, great gift
This set is exceptionally cute. I'm into collecting elephants for my home and this was a perfect addition. There are a few flaws such as the shakers are more on the grayish side rather than a pure ceramic white. Also the elephant trunks have one large whole at the end of their trunks for the salt/pepper to come out of which makes them a little less functional than your traditional shakers, but obviously you're paying for the look in this case. Having said that, the product seems to be well made but still a tad pricey. As unique as this item is the color/price is why I'm not giving it a full five star rating.
