I first bought this for my husband a few years back. He was very skeptical at first but it does a wonderful job of smoothing out the lumps and now he wears one every day. I purchase a few at Christmas each year to replace the ones that have worn out. My only complaint is that the fabric has a tendency to tear at the bottom hence the 4 stars.
I wear my pants up pretty high on my waist, it’s the latest trend with Gucci. The problem is I have lost about 75lbs over the last year going from a size 44 to a size 34. May stomach is an issue and this shirt helps to smooth me out and make me not look lumpy while I work on losing more weight. On nights I go out I double down with a regular spans and this for extra support and “hold”. It’s breathable, whisks away sweat and is comfortable to wear for long periods, even when I double up. I plan to buy a couple more of both the regular and performance. On a side note: according to their size chart I would be a XXL as I have 52” chest but I tried it on and it was too big, I went with the XL and that fits fine - I’d recommend ordering what size they suggest and maybe the next size down, after all the point of this garment is to compress right? :-)
I buy one of these every year as a stocking stuffer. They specifically ask for Spanx as the quality is not comparable. The compression strength is strong and retains its form for roughly a year. Does not pill or face.
