Great walking shoe

These shoes are incredibly comfortable with almost no break-in period. Some of the other styles cause blisters when I'm walking in the city (sometimes 7-10 miles in a given day if I have a lot of errands to run and don't feel like taking the subway) - I've never had a blister with these.
Since they're a derby style, they go well with a suit, business casual, or jeans. The rubber sole (vibram) is a reasonable size too, so you don't feel like you're walking in clown shoes.

Comfortable business shoes

In the past few years, I have developed pain in my heels and ankles requiring me to wear more comfortable orthotic shoes. Consequently I have not been able to wear my traditional business shoes. I chose these shoes because of their orthotic feature yet traditional look. I wore them for over 12 hours the first time right out of the box and I felt fine! I also have a very wide foot and the sizing of these shoes fits me well. So if you are in the market for orthotically correct shoes, you should try these, especially if you are looking for traditional business shoes.

my shoe insole squeaks.

The insole squeaks when I walk. I thought it would go away after a couple of days but it has not. I to the point that if it does not improve next week I will have to return the shoes. I have worn this brand for decades and in the past the old insoles were more of a finished product as opposed to something simply slipped in the shoe before sticking in a box. Otherwise the show is wonderful.
