VIP Rubber Sole Tops in Comfort

Along with the usual Allen Edmonds quality, you get the terrific VIP rubber sole. This sole makes the shoe very comfortable to walk in and is non-slip for those wet winter days. You can also replace the orthotic insole with one of your own if needed.
Highly recommended. Wish they made more models with this sole.

I have had foot problems for years and finally resorted to orthotics ten years ago. I have always believed I would rather have one pair of good shoes than several cheaper shoes. Had to get out of hard soled shoes and had several pair of Allen Edmonds I had to give away. I was extremely pleased that Allen Edmonds was producing a removable foot bed in a rubber soled shoe. I have had 4 pair of Denton's, two I have totally worn out and had remanufactured twice and two new pair, black and Chili which go with suits and khaki's . Great structure, feet are happy, and they are stylish. What else could you want.

I work in the Pentagon and spend long hours and miles walking on granite floors. My feet are always comfortable and my step is quiet. I wear the shoes with suits or more casual and I couldn't be happier with them. I sent them off to be recrafted once and they came back as durable as new and as comfortable as old shoes.

I love my AE shoes ... very well made, and extremely comfortable! The quality craftsmanship is obvious, and I'd own only AE shoes if I could afford to do that.
