Perfect and comfortable out of the box

My husband is a manufacturing engineer - but he has to look spiffy even if he is out on the shop floor.I have bought him this shoe in every color and he swears by them. 6 hours on his feet without a break and his feet and legs still feel great. They fit like and wear perfect right out of the box. I would recommend these any day

I went into the Boston Store and was very pleased with the sales staff's (Lilah & Jamie) help in fitting me to the right pair of shoes. They went out of their way to help me with my very large and very wide feet trying on various styles and sizes until we got it right! I needed a comfortable pair of great looking shoes with a rubber sole to serve an my everyday shoes. Standing for a long time and walking in hard leather soles can put a lot of stress on the feet. These fit the spot and look like they should last forever.

Keep the Sutter shoe in circulation.

I like the fit and comfort of the Benton shoet. I prefer the plain,unornamented look of the sutter shoe. I wish you keep it in circulation for those who who prefer to look formal and ordinary.

Long lasting shoe that works well for business and pleasure

I've had my Bentons for 10 years -- yes, that's correct! They still look brand new after two re-craftings. My chili colored Bentons are the perfect shoe for short business trips where I don't have room to take extra pairs of shoes. They are dressy enough to wear with a suit, while comfortable and casual enough to wear for happy hour and after-hours.
I've had my Bentons for more than 10 years and have had them re-crafted twice. I'm getting ready to send them in again. Each time, they've come back looking new. Over the years, the shoes have maintained their shape and form and also hold a nice shine. I'm not surprised since Allen Edmonds has always stood for quality, throughout the years.
