The Perfect Shoe For Business Or Casual Functions

I first learned about A.E. Shoes about 35 years ago and I've been a fan ever since. I'm a big guy and I need a shoe that offers good support and comfort as well. Believe me, ther's nothing worse than seeing a guy my size almost brought to tears because of ill-fitting or poorly constructed shoes. I especially like the Benton because of its traditional business or dress shoe style but with the impact softening of the rubber sole.The additional orthotic insert gives me extra arch support which many of us big guys need.The fact that they are removable is an added bonus. In short, The Benton can be called "A Shoe for All Seasons".

Great everyday shoe

Many of my friends think that leather soles are where it's at, and I might agree with them -- that is until I had to run around all day in the courtroom. Comfortable, kind on your feet and knees, and come in large sizes. These Bentons are champions and deserve to be honored as such. I've also "Recrafted" mine with great success. A winner.

Favorite shoe in my wardrobe...always classy, Allen Edmonds "recrafted" them for me and they came back looking brand new. After 4 years of wear and tear, I got a new pair of shoes at a fraction of the cost!

I really like the Bentons. I have two pair. The rubber bottoms are wearing out. I have no idea if Allen Edmonds can refurbish these shoes. The inside where my heel sits is starting to wear through the wall of the heel.
