I loved the AE saddle shoes in all ways but color. As with many things, the online color and the real color were not the same. I tried to order the cordovan & black shoes, but AE won't manufacture them for a couple of months. Nordstrom put me on a wait list / notification list and will advise when they receive the shoes I want. The return of the brown saddle shoes was seamless. All this is why I have been a customer of both companies so long. They both value customers in a way other retail outlets and manufacturers don't.

I was hesitant at first when buying these shoes. They are built like a tank. I was really surprised at how comfortable they were and how easy they were to break in. The padded tongue is what makes the difference for me. I have the brown combination and usually wear them with casual clothing, usually jeans and a dress shirt. I get compliments regularly about how stylish they are and it is usually from very stylish people. Worth every penny. They are by far my favorite shoe ever.

Prossaddle shoes
These are great shoes. I ordered the black and cordovan after having previouly purchased the two toned brown pair, which is my favorite. The black and cordovan pair, however, is more versatile with suits, which I often have to wear for work.
