This product not up to past Allen Edmond shoes purchased

I have had these shoes for a month and have only had them on for maybe 15 minutes. They are way too tight and stiff to wear without a great deal of discomfort. Not up to Allen Edmunds of the past. I must have purchased 30+pair of shoes from Allen Edmond over the years.

Poor quality, and significant defects

I bought two pairs of Kenwoods while they were on sale. Although they were supposed to be the same size, the fit was completely different between the pairs. One seemed to fit true to size, while the other pair fit about a whole size smaller. The pair that fit had a significant defect where the sole is attached to the rest of the shoe, and I was surprised that AE would offer it for sale, even as a factory second. I returned both pairs to AE, and am awaiting a refund. This shoe was made outside the US, not in Port Washington WI.

Not what you expect from Allen Edmonds

These shoes are not typical of Allen Edmonds. I own two pair and made the mistake if going for the low price. I am returning them and buying the Allen Edmonds lofers that I shiuld have pirchased in the first place. The leather in these is stiff as steel and VERY uncomfortable.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I always get compliments at the courthouse about how shiny they are and how sharp they look. They broke in after about ten wears or so, they stretch for maximum toe room, and they are very easy to get on and off. These shoes mold to your feet rather quickly and are a good choice for long days. I like that I can swap out my suit for jeans and not worry about changing shoes. The only critique I have is that the inner sole is not completely lined which is annoying at first because your socks can bunch up or get dragged down. However, I have had no issue since I broke them in. Wish they would bring back the tan color.
