I have used this foundation for 6 + years and keep coming back after trying another foundation. I love the color ranges the most with this formula. I use Vanilla Beige and Golden Beige in the winter and Suntan Beige in the summer. For me, it is difficult to find beige-y foundations. This formula you can use light or full coverage and it is very creamy and hydrating. Initially it is hard to work with, but you will find what works for you. I take a small amount out with the scoop and rub it with my fingers to warm it, and lightly buff it out. I finish it off with LM powder and bronzer -- perfect!
This is a foundation for all ages. Makes my skin look smooth as silk. Application can either be light or full. I'm a gal in early 80's with good skin. So easy to apply and the color selection Porcelain Ivory is perfect. for me. Would I purchase again. Absolutely.
I wound up returning this and was pretty disappointed. I did not find it moisturizing on my skin at all, in fact I felt like it highlighted any partially dry or flaky areas. I know it's intended for light coverage but I find even the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer works better than this, not worth the money.
No question! I truly love Laura Mercier's Cream Smooth Foundation. I have tried many other products and always return to Laura. This foundation goes on evenly, covers all flaws and does not dry out my skin. I am seventy five and people tell me I look sixty. Laura gets all the credit.
And Nordstrom makes it so easy to order online. Nordstrom packages my purchases beautifully, ships promptly, and the website is incredibly easy to use. I have never found it necessary to make a return, but I understand that process is simple too. Shipping is always free; that's another plus.
