Have been using La Mer for decades and usually adore the line - swear by the Cream, Concentrate, Mask, Lip Balm, and several other products that are my go-to. I MUCH PREFER the Genaissance eye cream - NOT THIS. Both the eye balm intense and the eye concentrate fall very short of what I’ve come to expect of La Mer. After awhile, this didn’t smell quite right and there’s no excuse for that having kept it away from heat and light, etc. Wanted to love this because the texture is nice, but it doesn’t absorb like other eye creams (better off with Genaissance or Bobbi Brown, etc.)
A few months ago, I had a reaction to makeup and had very sensitive, red, dry flaky skin around my eyes. I went to the doctor and they told me it would clear up after a few weeks. It did but it came back. I tried this in a sample and saw immediate results. It was very calming to the irritated skin. I ended up buying a full jar and really do enjoy it. My skin looks and feels better. The price is a lot but for me it it worth it for the results. It’s not for everyone, my sister does not like it, so if you can get a sample do that.
so I got hooked on La Mer soft lotion and decided to try their eye creme thinking anti aging benefits of La Mer must be good since my face lotion left me with glowing skin. This stuff is amazing! I have always struggled to treat sagging and puffy under eyes, often using 2 different eye creams at a time to maximize their benefits. No longer! this cream has completely ended my issues, I wake up with normal looking eyes, no bags, no sagging. I didn't even expect this result so I'm more than happy to have La Mer quality and I no longer need any extra eye creams to treat my under eye issues. I'm a true believer in La Mer!!!
