This foundation leaves a very nice smooth finish with good coverage. It is not cakey and it lasts longer than some other liquid foundations on my oily skin. I am 40 plus and this foundation did not settle in forehead lines or pores either, which is a big concern of mine. It also does not seem to add to my acne issues. I chose 107 Beige and for shade reference, I can wear either Napoleon look2 or Estee Lauder double wear light shade 02.
After using drug store foundations my skin was screaming "help" for years! Then I discovered the Clarins counter and the products that improved so many aspects of my skin! Thank God I discovered this in my late 20s now that I'm 34 im gratefully not showing my age! The Foundation was not only smooth going on, it also created a firming to my skin I desired! The color is perfect and I no longer suffer from dreadful breakouts !!! Love it!
This is a great product, but watch the color palettes on line. I have very fair skin, but typically don't need the lightest shade available. In this product, even the lightest shade is not really light. Best to look at the colors in a local department store before purchasing on line.
