These boots fit comfortably from the start. My husband got me these and they were perfect in every way. I already had a pair of Frye's but the ones I had needed a little time to be broken in. But not these. They worked so beautifully from the start. They are called "slouch" for a reason so don't get these if you're looking for something snug. You can truly wear these from the beginning without fear of blisters or toe cramping. Also, if you treat these with the leather protector, they'll stay nicer, longer but that doesn't mean they won't get roughed up. I happen to like the worn in look, though. I will continue to shop at Nordstrom again and again because the sales and customer service people they employ are amazing.

Nice Boots

I think these boots are awesome. Except that the boot gave me blisters on both of my heal. I only wore the boots for a few hours and had to take them off b/c I couldn't walk in them anymore. They're nice boots but too tight on the heel part of them. Thinking of returning them. This is my second Frye tall brown boots the other pair does the same thing. I love the way they look but overall, I think the boots are hard to walk in as I mentioned above. Probably going to return them.

This boot is fantastic for gals with wider calves. I was FINALLY able to fit into a pair of boots with my jeans and a liitle room to spare! They are adjustable at the top and at the ankle. Keep in mind that they are considered a slouchy boot, so they slouch a bit around the ankle. As for quality, they rock stitched soles and 100% leather. I can only hope Frye will continue with new wide-calf styles.

Perfect for Fall.

Ordered for the wider calf because I am short but still want to wear the 'to the knee' boot style that is so popular for Fall. Normally wear a size 7, and ordered tts for this one as well. Fit is excellent! Was able to get them on with ease and actually tuck my skinny jeans into them....AND they fit my calves! :)
Color is beautiful. Not too dark, not too light. Has rubber on the bottom so you feel confident walking with no slipping. Buckles make a cool 'jingle' when you're walking, like an old west gangster. lol Very cool boots and worth the price.
