I ordered the "Veronica Slouch" Boot and really liked the way they looked online but when I got them I wished they were a little bit taller of a boot. The color was absolutely beautiful and I liked the style but I decided to exchange them for another Frye boot that I LOVED. So if you are looking for a more mid calf boot this is a great choice. Very cute style just not exactly what I was looking for.

Prosworth every dime
I have these boots in both brown and black. Both colors are fantastic. Comfortable and fun to wear. Fit nicely over my skinny jeans with a bit of room to spare. True to size fit. I wore one pair or the other all winter long and both pairs held up beautifully. You can't lose with Frye boots...

I love my Frye boots. I have very very wide calves...like just over 17 inches wide. It took a bit of wearing around the house to get the calves stretched a little. I normally wear a 8.5 and I had a hard time initially wearing them with socks. I finally bought a thin nylon type sock to wear while breaking them in. The only reason I have rated them at a 4 star is there is no traction on the sole and they are terrible on the ice and snow. It would be nice to even have a tiny bit of traction on the sole. I love the color and get a ton of compliments when I wear them. I do think the price is high but with how hard it is to find a stylish wide calf boot that is made well and quality I just did it and am so glad I did. I can't wear jeans under them just leggings but again I do have very wide calves over 17 inches. I did find that the sizing is not very consistent. I ordered a pair in a 9 in black thinking they would easily fit my calves and I couldn't even pull them all the way up. The calves on the size 9 were much more narrow than my 8.5. So if you go to try them on and they don't fit ask for another pair!
