Just not for me ...

The boot fit great, even a bit loose around calves. The oiled and distressed leather look was good on the right, but the left side had a big orange line up the front, plus two spots that just looked beat up. Wish they were taller, too. There's no leather lining, just the outer leather turned over and stitched. Maybe if I wasn't a size 11 and tall, they wouldn't look so masculine. I really wanted to like them, but for the price, they just are not for me. :( Good fit, though.

Awesome Boots!!!

Proscomfortable, versatile, quality made

I just purchased these boots last night. I have wide calves, so decided to give these boots a try. Wow! They fit like they were personally made for me. They are so comfortable and looked much better on than I initially expected. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 depending on the shoe, but the 8 1/2 was perfect. The calf was actually a bit wide, so I tried on the regular Veronica boot, but they only had a size 9. The calf fit well, but my heel kept slipping as I walked. So I tighted the strap at the calf, and went with the 8 1/2. These have to be the best fitting boots I have ever purchased. The leather is very soft, and the color is versatile. I know I will wear them all during the fall and winter with jeans and longer skirts. I have back problems and have trouble wearing heels, so these are just what I was looking for. These are my first pair of Frye boots, and I'm sure they won't be my last. I couldn't be happier!

Very Disappointed

Was so excited to finally get theses boots...have been debating for over a year and decided to make the big purchase. I had read a lot of reviews determining what size I should order only to get them and have them slip in the heels. Not only that, they were very uncomfortable and the coloring was awful. Again a very big disappointment as I have problems finding boots that fit my calfs and have "THE LOOK". Guess I am still on the hunt!

I have the hardest time finding boots because for some reason, I've been blessed with larger calves.
I've been eyeing some Frye's for a long time now and finally decided to get them despite the price tag and I am glad I did! These fit perfectly, and for me, streched just a tiny bit so I even have some wiggle room which is great!
I know these boots are made well and will last quite a long time so that makes me feel better about spending so much. They're wonderful quality and comfortable as well. I've gotten so many compliments too.
This will not be my last pair of Frye's thats for sure!
