I have a wide calf and these fit perfectly! I am unable to fit into the melissa button wide calf but these fit great. They are so comfortable too! I wear them to work for 8 hours a day and my feet never hurt. They look so cute with jeans, leggings or dresses. They're a must have!

Nice boot, but weird color

These boots are really great for us with wider calves, fits beautifully. My only issue is with the brown finish, wherever I have a scuff mark, it is an orangy color underneath, looks almost like they are orange and then spray painted dark brown on top...for a $300 plus pair of boots I would think they would do a nicer dye job

Ordered these in, and was so disappointed o have to return them. The boots just didn't fit nicely and were not comfortable at all. I did love the look of them, as well as the wide calf!

Best boot for women with athletic calves

I've tried for years to find a pair of boots that would fit my muscular calves. I've tried on pair after pair only to find that I couldn't pull them on or I couldn't zip them up. I originally went to Nordstrom's to try these boots on but they didn't have the wide calf available so I took a chance and ordered them based upon other reviews. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised and elated in how they fit. They are a little snug over my arch (did I mention I have a high arch too) but I expect them to stretch out a bit after wearing them a while. I love them so much I'm going to order them in black too. Frye makes a quality boot and the Veronica are an extremely attractive pair of boots. Highly recommended.
