Remember the Barrado?

Well, this is very similar to Merrels Barado (now discontinued shoe.) Except it's stiffer than either the mesh or the leather Barados used to be (why do they discontinue a great shoe???)
Anyway, this is a good, comfy out of the box walking shoe. I got it in black; no great style statement, but simple and good for travel.
I ordered it in my usual size nine and it fits fine; might be tight on a wider foot.

Without a doubt, the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. These sneakers were purchased for our upcoming trip to Italy where we will be walking a lot; I know I will not be disappointed in these shoes!!

I think these shoes are attractive on the foot (they don't make your foot look huge!). I like the zip front. I bought them in the black and the red. The shoes felt comfortable right out of the box; that is not always the case for me. I think they will be a great shoe to own.

I have several pair of Merrells in different colors and styles. I highly recommend them because they are so comfortable and easy to care for.
