I had a friend tell me to get these inserts to keep my feet toasty in the cold weather. The first time I wore them I felt like I had cozy toes and legs. BUT ever since, I feel like I am freezing still. I don't know why they don't seem to help but I definitely don't feel like they keep me warm now. The other thing is that I don't feel like the sizing is right. They say to buy a L for a 6-8 shoe. I have a pair of boots which are an 8 and they are JUST big enough to allow for the insert to make them fit properly. BUT the socks come out so far out of my boots. I am 100% positive they are the short boot socks and yet they come at least an extra 2 inches out of my boots than the fold on the sock. I don't know definitely not my favorite item from Hunter. The boots are absolutely worth it but these may just be a waste of money.
I went into Nordstrom and tried on the hunter boots loved them, the sale rep told me to try it on with the hunter boots socks I was like wow even better the socks makes the boots way more comfortable and they also look very styles. With the socks not only is the hunter boot a rain boot but you can use them for the snow as well, The boots are pricey but worth every penny.
These are great additions to my short Hunter Boots. I purchased the black for my black matte short Hunter boots. Great for transitioning from warm weather to cool weather. Amazingly warm! Creates a more stylish rain boot. Great Buy!
