I was looking for a bold red that would not be too strong for my fair skin and dark hair. This is a great choice. Color stays on well and does not dry your lips out. NARS is always a best bet for makeup!

Prosnon-sticky, moisturizing
The description of this lipstick is smack, dead on. It is super matte, and doesn't dry your lips out. I have MAJOR issues with my lips chapping/drying out, especially in the winter. I was really hesitant to get a matte red because of that. But I couldn't be the only gal around town not on trend with matte red lips. So I bit the bullet, & I'm glad that I did.
The only draw back that I have with it, is that after eating/drinking/all day wear, the center part of the lipstick fades...but not around the edge of my lips. So I look like I have lip liner on without lipstick. I just make it a point to reapply after eating or mid way through my day. But it has stayed on longer then my other (shiny) red lipstick has.
And the color is perfect.

I love the color of this lipstick! Ever since I started wearing it, I received a number of compliments. The one issue that I have with this lipstick is that it is a bit drying. I guess, there is no way to avoid this effect in matt, long-lasting lipsticks. It’s not as bad as in some other long-lasting matt lipsticks I tried before. So this one is a keeper.
