GUYS! LISTEN! I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful lipstick is in the shade of "Volga" the dark is so in right now...and the creamy matte finish is so perfect.
Why? Application y'all! This creamy matte finish applies so even and perfect...i was so afraid it would apply blotchy (see: Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in "Homegirl"). But, happily, it was perfect!
Also, this baby lasts! I like to apply chapstick before my lipcolor for moisture but this is so creamy that i almost dont need it. Amost.
I also LOVE to pair it with a rich berry color like NARS Audacious Lipstick in "Fanny"
Moral: BUY BUY BUY!!! ThankYou NARS for this fabulous shade that is sold out everywhere!
I purchased the color amsterdam. IT's a beautiful color. That said, I'd wear this color on limited occasions...I bought it to wear to a holiday party and wore Risky Business lip gloss over. For me, red lipstick is a big color and I don't like to wear it every day. I was especially pleased that although it is a matte formula it was not drying on my lips (and my lips tend to be dry dry dry).
I love this color! It's the perfect plum color fitting for the winter! I normally where bright red so this was a pleasant change of color! I highly recommend if you don't want to go nude in color. :D
