I'm a fair blue eyed blonde. Think this shade is flattering for most skin tones. Very bright pink, which is very now with Spring looks. I searched everywhere for this shade and Nordstrom was the only ones that had it (sephora, Saks, amazon, drugstore.com and in store Norstrom did not). Recommend priming lips first with moisturizing balm, the shade is long lasting, yet very matte.

Proslong-wearing, glorious color, drying, fun!
This glorious NARS matte pink lipstick called "Carthage" is as pretty in person as it is online. It goes on even more vibrant than one might expect. The only problem is that it is indeed very matte and, therefore, very drying. Next time I wear it I shall use a moisturizing gloss beneath it to keep my lips moist. It is extremely long-lasting color-wise.

Prosnon-sticky, creamy, long-wearing
I have used other matte lipsticks in the past (mostly Chanel) and I have found this to be better. The color is truly matte and it does not dry my lips out like the Chanel matte lipsticks do. I bought Carthage and it's a beautiful, berry color that's bright but not too bright. It stays on for hours, only slightly losing intensity with wear. It goes on creamy and I don't feel my lips drying out the longer I wear it. I love Chanel, but I think for matte lip color in the future, I'll be going with NARS.
I purchased this lipstick based on a recommendation in a magazine as I have a difficult time finding something that is longlasting. This is great, i already bought 2 other colors. Just love this product and it is not drying.
