Amazing concealer!

This very matte, full coverage concealer works on just about anything I could want to conceal - dark circles (occasional), redness around my nose (permanent), and even the odd acne mark (rare - thankfully). I even managed to conceal a small patch of very dark pigmentation on my cheek, that once appeared out of nowhere, whilst applying topical products and waiting for it to fade. No matter what I chose to cover, the coverage is excellent. I only need to apply a very small amount with my fingers, and then usually follow with a small brush, or sometimes fingers alone can do the trick, depending on the exact area I'm concealing. My skin type is oily/combination and this glides on like a dream and never looks cakey, unless I apply too much. If you have combination to oily skin I would suggest to give this a try. I'm not too sure how dry skin types would fare with this, as it's quite a matte formulation. Admittedly I do now use this less often than I used to, since discovering I'm allergic to silicones, and this contains plenty of them! So I alternate with MAC's Studio Finish as it doesn't contain any, and usually leave Pro Longwear for the weekends and special occasions, which is when it also becomes invaluable for contouring - something I don't find time to do regularly. Both concealers last the whole day on me, with Longwear remaining the most matte, whereas Studio Finish tends to allow oiliness from my skin to break through much sooner. A good purchase and a long time favorite for me, just be careful with that pump, it can and will dispense a lot more product than you need! -> My ‘Nordstrom Beauty Top 7 must-have list’ (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Nordstrom) <- < 1. Hair Loss Treatment: Divine Herbal Hair Oil < 2. Concealer: ‘Mac’ - Studio Finish Concealer < 3. Lip Gloss: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil < 4. Mascara: ‘Lancome’ – Cilis Booster XL < 5. One Great Concealer
PostedAugust 27, 2020
I love this concealer. It is the best concealer I have ever used, and I have used a lot of them. It can also be used as a foundation if wanted or mixed with another Pro Longwear Concealer to achieve the exact color one wants. Great product!! Highly recommended!

Concealer works well BUT Packaging is a huge pain
PostedMay 28, 2020
This is on me since the bottle clearly says .3 oz, but I was surprised by how TINY this bottle is. I realize that this is the going rate for a good concealer, (Tarte's Shapetape is around the same price and size) but the packaging makes it seem like even less that it is. See, normally concealers use wands, so I don't understand why there's a pump on this. There's a lot less control that way-especially since a little of this goes a long way. I always end up pumping more than I need and after just a few uses there's product spilling out around the pump and all over the sides (definitely a defect with the pump). Even though the product itself is good, the hassle and wastefulness of the packaging is seriously making me rethink this purchase.
