This is a pretty dress. Nice fit. But I was fooled by the color presented on the computer. Seems I read that in another reveiw and thought they must be wrong. The picture looks totally different. Be assured when you order: Indigo means very dark (almost black) navy. I don't know what the color is that the picture represents, but it is not even close to "indigo."

Lovely dress purchased for my daughters wedding in June. At 62 in good shape for my age I still wanted arm coverage. This dress fits and accentuates my curves, covers my aging arms. I think it will be great. I'm 5 ft so I will need to have it shortened. I originally ordered the small but returned it for the xsmall which is fitting better.

Very comfortable having trouble deciding between two gowns
I bought this for a Military Ball and loved it so much, I hated for the event to be over! As it has been mentioned, this dress doesn't look that impressive on the hanger, but is absolutely beautiful on! I had tried on so many dresses and this one just stood out! It was very flattering, comfortable and I felt great wearing it! I am 5' 9" and it was the perfect length, so maybe a bit long for shorter height. It has an understated elegance to it. Because it isn't over the top with glam, it is easy to buy jewelry as most everything looks good with it. I am a young 45yrs. old and didn't want to look dressed for the prom, but also didn't want to look too 'mother-of-the-bride'. This dress was perfect! It has a glamorous look about it, with it's slightly off the shoulder sleeves and small train. (and the train was not a tripping hazard!) I received many compliments in this dress and it was described by many as 'stunning'! I think the gathered look and stretch of this dress would be flattering for many body types. As you can see, I can't say enough about this dress! I don't think you can go wrong with this dress. I may consider purchasing the shorter version of it!
