It may not look like a WOW dress from the picture but it really is an amazing dress. It does run long so either you have to be tall or wear really high heels. The dress is comfortable to move around in and dance. You do have to remember that the back has a slight train! I purchased this dress in black for an event but for my son's wedding I purchased the same dress in indigo. I did not want to wear black to his wedding and thought WHY not purchase the same great dress in indigo? I am anxious to ask my son and future daughter in law if they like the dress, etc. If not, I can return it. Nordstrom is great about return items.

Absolutely LOVE this dress! I bought it for my daughter's wedding in October of this year, she's going with a black and off-white theme. Its perfect!

This designer really knows how to flatter a woman's figure! I am 5'4, 125 pounds, 51 years old, of youthful taste, small, but not terribly curvy. My husband walked into the bedroom as I was trying the dress on and said "Va-va-va-VOOM!" It is stylish, tasteful, comfortable, but sexy. It gives me curves in all the right places. It IS quite form-fitting. I'll want to wear a moderate undergarment with it. I plan to wear this dress for my daughter's wedding. I sent her a picture of me wearing it, and she answered back that I better not upstage her at her own wedding! I have tried on several other designs by Tadashi Shoji, and they were all wonderfully becoming as well. Thank you!

I wore this dress to my daughter's wedding Saturday night and got more compliments on it that I can count. I rarely order clothes on-line but ordered this dress because of the reviews. The minute I tried it on, I loved it. I am 5'7" and with a 2" heel, I did not have to hem it like others say they have to. The florist we used even called me today and asked me to model the dress with some of his flowers when he updates his website!! My daughter wanted me to wear black and when she saw this dress on me she was elated. I would highly recommend it! I'm sure I can wear it again to another formal event. The medium was a perfect fit. I am a size 8, sometimes pushing a 10 so I would say the sizing is right on! Love this dress!
