I am 5'2 - 140# with 36 D girls - so short and curvy. I could not believe how amazing I looked. I burst into tears...really. I did order the regular length and will be getting the dress hemmed. This dress plays up my bosum, gives me a waist and slims my hips. The color (ink) is stunning. I am a dark brunette. I have never owned a gown before but this is one designer I will return to again and again.
I love black and it looks good on me. This dress is extremely complementary.I am a 60 yr. old woman, 38-35-37, 5'3" short person with a long, straight waist. My belly is flat. I have the arm flaps. This dress smooths out everything, does not accentuate the large breast and is to die for comfortable!!!! Everything stretches and the outer layer is gathered here and there. I ordered an 8, but am also getting a 6 just in case the diet and exercise work well. Too long though, must get it hemmed. Please don't buy for a wedding in southern Chester County. I don't want to be shown up!

Beautiful Gown

The gown fit perfectly, however, I felt it was too dark and did not have enough bling for the mother of the bride in a September wedding. Perhaps a charcoal color would have been more appealing.

Beautiful & flattering dress

Proselegant, comfortable, flattering
I bought this dress to possibly wear to my daughter's wedding in June. While it is a great dress and very flattering, I felt the navy was too dark for an outdoor June wedding. (My son thought it was black at first.) I ended up with another dress but would have liked to keep this dress if I had somewhere else to wear it. It seemed true to size ... love the ruching. I am 5'7" 130 lbs and bought the small, which fit well.
