Timberland sizing is very difficult for me. I am a 9.5. I have found the Timberland shoes run large so I ordered a size 9 in a different shoe and found that the fit was night and snug. So I ordered a size 9 in these shoes, and they have about an inch of room from the tip of my toes to the tip of the shoe. It is very important for me to get the right sized dress shoe because if it is too large, it will wrinkle more easily and quickly. The color shown on the website is misleading. The shoes were darker when I received them, which didn’t meet my expectations. The quality of the shoe is awesome, and the leather is very nice! However, because of the reason above, I will be returning the shoe.
This is my third pair of Timberland's from Nordstrom, the other two being the chukka style boot. I was a little apprehensive at first buying the oxford, but have fallen in love with them. Very comfortable walking around the city. They look great with shorts or pants. Plus they have a great look to complete your ensemble for the day. I will likely end up with a second pair of the oxford in another color! Size does run a little small. I wear a 10 in sneakers, while a 9 in the Timberlands is perfect for me.
These shoes are incredible. Unique and comfortable! These are absolutely my favorite shoes, I want to buy a second pair. They are very versatile to wear in a formal setting or with jeans on casual Fridays. They have a 'rocker' sole that provides support and gives you a bounce to your step. This is not your standard shoe!! Sizes run slightly large, I am normally 11.5 but purchased the 11's and after wearing them a few times they fit like a charm.
