It tastes so bitter like spoiled Half and Half because one of its ingredients is of bad quality. I feel like, for this price, YSL should consider replacing some of its ingredients so that it would just taste like a regular lipstick. I talked to a Nordstrom Esthetician, and she said that bitter taste= low quality. I returned this and bought Sisley's New La Rouge Hydrating lipstick that does not have a nasty flavor. I love YSL but this lipstick is a No No.
I have tried many high-end lipsticks before this one and have to say that this one is the best. I have it in the color Beige Tribute and I just put a few coats of it on my lips and it stays on my lips till I decide to wipe it off. The Smell is good. I like it because it is very shiny and rich in color. It's not just a random shade of beige, it's the Angelina Jolie type of beige. Natural yet, pretty and it makes my lips look bigger. I was just so frustrated that I couldn't find any good quality lipsticks that are rich in color. After trying this lipstick, I can't wear anything else.
