This is what I get for ordering a color based on online photos. There is no Nordstrom in my area and the Beige Tribute color received so many glowing reviews I risked it. It must be great on some people but is just horrid on me. I have light skin with yellow undertones and on me it was chalky white. I look ghostly and ghastly with this on. Guess I can keep it to lighten a darker shade. The lipstick itself would be fine in another color. Tried two other shades (different lipsticks) in same order and they worked well. Not this one.

this color is a neutral but it shows up on my fair skin. It completes my face.:). I've tried other neutrals that just disappear. It's a long lasting lipstick and looks wonderful. A tad bit drying at the end of the day. I do reapply quite often. It's a lipstick, not glossy, but just a lovely finish that says I cared enough to put on some womanly lipstick.
I received a YSL lipstick in a hot pink shade as a gift a while back. It glides on so well and wears all day that I ordered another in "Rosewood." The shade is similar to a MAC viva glam V or VI. It's pretty much a universal shade, but fellow olive toned ladies will appreciate Rosewood as a "nude" that isn't lighter than our lips' natural pigment. The only negative I can think of is that it tastes kind of bitter if you get any on your tongue.
