I had an Ecco that I bought some 10 years ago and it is still comfortable and hardly shows its wear. So I thought it was time to get a new pair. The shoe runs large and I had to return the first pair. I made an exchange by phone with a helpful Nordstrom person and as I am typing this I am wearing the exchange pair one size smaller and it is immediately comfortable no break in required.

My husband generally wears size 9.5 and he took a 42 in these. The 43 were just a little too big. I compared the 43 to another pair of shoes he has in a 9.5 and they were definitely bigger in length so you may need to order a size down in these.

I bought this shoe 5 years ago and have worn it most days of the week for work. These shoes are the best shoes I have ever had. They are much better than Allen-Edmunds at half the cost. They are very comfortable and they are show little wear. I have never had to re-sole them. I plan on buying a new pair this week.
