I'm been using this foundation for a few years now and loved it because it gave natural coverage and blended so well. But the last bottle I purchased doesn't give me the same kind of flawless coverage. I'm not sure what's different now, but the foundation gives more of a chalky finish that accentuates all of my fine lines and pores. It looks dry. Unfortunately I decided to switch to a new brand of foundation, as this just made my skin look too pasty as the day drew on.

bring old formula back!!

It was my can't live without foundation until they changed the formula. The rose smell is so strong and they added new ingredients which are not suitable for sensitive skin like mine( gave me a reaction) furthermore; oxides horrible . Unacceptable. They should have created another foundation to give us the option either to buy the new line foundation and for us that were loyal to keep our fave foundation( old formula). I don't doubt they lost so many clients that like me were loyal .unacceptable .

Use to love but they changed it!

I loved the old formula! Bring it back! It matched my skin tone perfect and the fragrance free, oil free formula didnt make my skin break out. It was actually recommended to me by my dermatologist because of those specifc facts. But they changed it! As soon as I applied the new formula I smelled the strong fragrance smell and also realized the color had changed. My sensative skin broke out the next day. I will have to contact my dermatologist to inform her of the changes if she doesnt know already. So sad to say I am now on a search for a new foundation. 5 stars for Nordstrom return policy and customer service, I was able to return the foundation with no problems.
I'm the type that needs to try every available foundation before settling on one. I get samples from every counter and it takes months. This is my choice. Over Chanel, over Armani Luminous Silk (my #2 choice), and all the rest.
It's sheer, dewy but not shiny, and yet it covers well. (Better coverage is where it beat out Luminous Silk.) So well I can get by without concealer on my pink upper eyelid lash line. And, it doesn't settle in my pores (I use a 10x magnifying mirror at the window when selecting foundation). It is the best I've found for minimizing redness and imperfections without looking thick or settling in lines and creases.
I'm over 50 and have dry fair skin with yellow undertones, and dark blonde hair. I used to use Ivory N 1. Now they've changed the colors and I use Ivory N 4, once labeled #140. This is one of the few foundations that have a neutral in addition to warm and cool shades, which allows a better match for me. I've told my friends and they ended up using it as well.
