This is a pretty dress but the fabric is not silky in feel....a little uncomfortable and very light weight.

Not as pictured... this dress is maxi length. Material of sleeves bothered me, uncomfortable, scratchy. More appropriate for cooler weather.

If I had been able to order this dress in my size in blue (not the Persian blue) I might have kept it as the length plus sleeves are what I was looking for. I am blonde and fair skinned and have tried the grey (too dark) and purple ash (too pale for me but beautiful for dark complexion/dark hair): downside of online purchasing. The hemlines on both dresses were unacceptable as they were very uneven in an unintended way (hence "average" rating ... where is quality assurance?). Size M definitely fits dress size 10 - 12, but expect slight variations as the material is stretchy.

Although the jacket hides figure flaws, I found the dress unflattering, overall. I'm 57 but even my husband said it was dowdy and made me look about 70. I tried the silver, blue and pink - the blue was the best, overall. When I pulled the pink one out of the box, my husband remarked it looked like something from the early 1900's - Victorian! If that's the look you're going for, then you've found your dress!
