very pretty dress

This is a very pretty dress and flows very nicely. I bought it in ash black, size 8 and it is true to size, a bit lighter in color than the picture shown. It didn't work for me; it was not flattering on my figure-I felt it made my hips look big. It might work fine on a different figure. It made me look older than I'd like for wearing to my son's wedding. I returned it in favor of another Nordstrom dress.

I thought this dress would be perfect to wear for my son's wedding. Even though I'm built like the model wearing it, it REALLY AGED ME,! And I'm looking old enough as it is : (. I returned it.

Prosgorgeous
I LOVE this dress. I plan to wear it to my son's wedding which will be in our backyard in May. The color is gorgeous and sophisticated and very subtle (I chose the lighter shade). In the photo, it looks more purple than it really is. I'm not a huge fan of the jacket part but I won't be needing it. This dress will lend itself to a great pretty necklace.

Proscomfortable, light, flowy, great fit
I was looking for something to wear to my daughter's wedding in May in Hawaii and wanted something light and flowy. Believe me this was no easy task! This dress met my expectations perfectly in that respect!. I was worried that it might look too much like lingerie or too matronly for the occasion...but it does not. It is very comfortable and will be great for travel and for the outdoor wedding. I ordered the almond ombre, as my daughter had not decided on bridesmaids dresses and time was short. I figured it would go with whatever she picked. The color of the dress is not exactly what it looked like on line and I am not pleased with the brooch...but I do like the ombre mix of the dress and can work something out with the brooch. The dress is very flattering and I look forward to wearing it many times!
