I didn't love this. It wasn't as long as I'd expected based on the model photo and in a medium it still felt more snug than I'd wanted. Plus the white was a bit sheer for me so it went back.
I have been wearing an earlier version of this shirt for years. As it is a thinner cotton fabric, it does shrink if you put in the dryer regularly. As a result I buy the large and shrink it down, even though the medium fit is preferred brand new. The colors are great as well.
These shirts are made of a very soft cotton and the colors are great. The lighter colors are pretty see-through, which is annoying, but the medium to dark colors are fine. It is long, so I can wear it in petite or regular. The shape is body skimming without being overly tight, so pretty flattering. It runs true to size, unlike some past Caslon styles that were pretty large. The only complaint I have is the tape that is sewn into the ruching can sometimes be itchy, so I hope they find a better way to ruch these in the future. I do recommend them. Also because of the length and the ruching, they can easily double as a maternity shirt, even though they look fine if you are not pregnant!
Obsessed might even be an understatement -- I love love LOVE these shirts! I have a long torso so it's hard for me to find shirts that are long enough. These shirts are just the right length and the shirred sides help hide my unflattering stomach pooch.
They are made from a thin material, so wearing a cami or tank top under them is pretty much a must. They do tend to get little holes in them easily, so I have to be careful not to snag them on things. But I love them so much that I still wear them with the holes anyway, lol.
The fit is true to size, if anything they are a tad big. I am 5' 5" and 170 pounds and the large fits me perfectly.
I was very disappointed that the tank top version didn't come back this year. Please bring them back! And more colors and patterns would be great too. Please don't ever stop selling these shirts! :-)
