Good for maternity, but a bit thin

I bought this in three colors, up 2 sizes from what I would normally buy to wear this as a maternity top. The material is pretty thin, which is ok for me because I'm layering with a cardigan or blazer for work, but I wouldn't necessarily like this on its own. The long length covers the stretchy sides on my maternity jeans, and overall this works for me at 8 months pregnant. I'm not sure how much (if at all) I'll wear this once I'm back to pre-baby size.

Cute Style; Not for Me

Prossheer, tight, not flattering
I bought this tee a year ago in a green, size M. Love the shirt and the fabric was not flimsy. Bought it recently in white and chose the recommended size S based on the Nordstrom fit guide. Here's my first tip--don't always trust the fit guide. White was too sheer, too tight and not flattering. It went back. Not sure if the design changed in a year or the thinner fabric drapes differently, but it is no longer a winner. Even going up a size or 2 wouldn't make me like the quality or drape of the fabric any better. Now it just looks cheap. Maybe the issues are just with the white fabric? Anyway, won't buy the shirt again unless I can see it in the store.

Bought 4 of these based on a couple I wanted to replace. The material is now thinner and cheaper and the sizing is different. Horrible. Took all 4 back and kept the ones from a couple of years ago.
Reminded me too much of the maternity tops I wore while I was preggo. The shirring does have a slimming effect, but it can only do so much. I think the fit was a little too tight for my taste and it just accentuated all the wrong things. The material was too thin and the V was a little too low for my taste.
