I had wanted these boots for a while, and one day I noticed they were on sale so I ordered them immediately. I usually wear a size 7, but the closest size left was 7.5 so I ordered those in the Stone. While they are bigger than my normal size, I'll be wearing them when it gets cold with socks and they will fit perfectly then!
These boots are very comfortable and casual. As a student, I wear these to class and to event with my friends all the time. I originally bought a pair of shoes like this for cheaper, but they fell apart quickly. These shoes are a little more expensive, but they're good quality.
So disappointed about this shoe. After 3ish months of non-daily wear, my black Troopas faded into a strange green/olive color. Awful! I am so disappointed. The boot style is great (love the zip up the inside and how slim they are against the ankles), and really comfortable (surprising for Steve Madden), but they're pretty much unwearable now that the color changed. Definitely not worth the money for such a fast discoloration.
I've had these for just a short time but they're a staple piece you must have in your closet! They're so versatile and go with so many things, you can wear them with shorts or pants, and they'll always look good. They're comfortable, cute, and sophisticated looking. You can dress them up or down.
