I've worn and loved Troopa boots before, and was delighted to see them available again. Unfortunately, the right boot's tongue and laces were sewn on crookedly. Not enough to visually notice immediately, but enough to cause that foot to go to sleep after about two hours of inside wear. When I went to readjust, I noticed it was definitely crooked and the angled pressure was what was causing the discomfort. I thought about exchanging them, but decided it wasn't worth the effort.
Also, I'm usually a size 8 and I have to size up to a 9 in Steve Madden shoes.
I had been online looking for a good looking pair of combat style boots, and these checked all my boxes, so perfect! I love the look and they are so comfortable, didn't even have to break them in. I ordered a size 9, although I wear a 8 1/2 as I have wider feet, and I should have stuck with my true size as they're just a tad too big. Otherwise, I love these shoes! They seem really well made and I've gotten lots of compliments already!
I am a 9 and bought a 9.5 based on reviews. Very happy that I did! Love these shoes. The zipper on the side makes them so easy to get on and off. Very comfortable. They are my new go to shoe!
