It's a classic, and you can't go wrong for the price. This is my second pair and they've made a few changes compared to their model a few years ago (seems to go up higher on the calf, waxy laces seem more durable). I haven't had any issues breaking them in, but the shoe does wrinkle very easily, especially around the ankle. My last pair wore out fairly quickly and terribly - the heel wore all the way down and the shoe started smelling, but it's affordable to replace.

Prossuper cute/comfy
From the first day I received these boots in the mail they quickly became my favorite! They are so cute and comfy and look great over my skinny jeans! Leather is so soft too! I definitely would recommend these for all ages....I'm 58 and I rock em!!!!!

I bought a black pair of Troopa boots last year. They have been a great pair of boots, they get a few scuffs here and there, but overall look great. They are comfortable and stylish. I kept wishing I had a grey or brown pair so this year I decided to get the stone leather.
Big mistake! The leather looked like it had been stained and the zipper (which I never even thought about before) had been changed from a metal zipper to a plastic one! Even worse, Steve Madden has the nerve to keep the price the same when they are cutting corners. The pictures should show the new zipper, never would have bought this!
