I had been looking for simple, flat denim espadrilles for a long time, so I'm glad I found these. I also really love that they have a cushioned footbed. The stitching at back rubbed against my heel, but I got the tape made to protect the heel at the drug store--that's solved the problem. There's not much support in these shoes, but I can slip a thin orthotic inside, so I'm very pleased.

I read previous reviews tha the shoe runs big so I opted for 1/2 size small. The heel of the shoe sort of tilts toward the achilles heel/ankle at an angle to keep it on your foot.
Sometimes I find myself slipping out of the shoe because of tension in that area.
I think if I had gotten my true size the 'other' issue would have been that the shoe was too big because there would have been a gap in the back.
Anyway, the sole is a soft cushion and is very comfortable otherwise. I'm going to keep my current size. Overall I like this shoe!

This espadrille looks lovely online but the size is a little big. I am a 6M and it seems that it is a half size bigger. The material is quite thin and not like the real ones made in Spain. The denim-color though is great and hard to find.

I have been looking for an espadrille like this one for awhile. It's comfortable, cute, and a great price point. I would buy another if it came in other colors.
