I bought this Burberry trench in February. It is PERFECT. I had the sleeves shortened at Nordstroms alteration dept. they did an excellent job. I love my trench, every woman should own one.

Prosstylish, comfortable, versatile
This trench coat is a bit shorter than other Burberry trench coats I've tried, but since I am rather petite/ athletic (5'4, 130 lbs), it fits well and covers the bum in a size 6. It is comfortable, although the material is a bit stiff (more like a waterproof material), but after a few uses, it loosens up. Basically, it is a good staple and I'm glad I bought this in black to avoid stains and dirt. Sleeves are a good length, not too long and I can't wait to wear this in the fall! :)
I'm 5'2, between 114-118lbs, ordered the black, size 2 and while it looked beautiful, it was too snug in the shoulders. (Would only accommodate a very thin shirt or tank.) Found a size 4 and it is perfect in the shoulders (easily accommodates a thin cashmere sweater or medium weight layer) but it is not as tailored through the body; still looks nice though. Will definitely need the sleeves shortened (which is easy), and may decide to have the body taken in a bit (or not).
Also, the size 2 was approx. 28" in length (a bit too short). The size 4 is 29.5" in length which is perfect for my height. The size 2 was made in Italy, the 4 was made in England. Comparing both next to each other, the material in the size 2 (Italy) felt a tad bit stiff/more structured, as if there was more poly in the blend. The 4 (England) feels more like 100% cotton which is softer and lighter (but hopefully more water resistant than 100%cotton).
While I do love this trench, I am only giving 4 stars because I don't love the oversized, squared off gun flap in the back. I much prefer the curved, button down gun flaps. But overall I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to some rain.

Very nice basic coat. The coat I received is "Made in Italy", not "Made in England"
